1. Overview
Subsly is a subscription tracker app that helps users manually track recurring subscriptions, renewal dates, free trial endings, and related spending information.
We designed Subsly to be privacy-first. Subsly does not require users to connect a bank account or provide banking credentials in order to use the core features of the app.
2. Information We Collect
a) Information you enter into the app
Subsly may store information that you manually enter, such as:
- subscription names
- payment amounts
- billing cycles
- renewal dates
- free trial dates
- categories
- reminder preferences
- notes you choose to add
This information is used only to provide the core functionality of the app.
b) Purchase and subscription information
If you purchase a premium plan or lifetime access, we may process and receive limited purchase-related information from Google Play and our subscription management provider (such as RevenueCat), including:
- product purchased
- subscription status
- entitlement status
- transaction or purchase identifiers
- app user ID or anonymous device/app instance ID used for purchase validation
We do not receive your full payment card details. Payments are processed by Google Play.
c) Analytics and diagnostics
We may collect limited app analytics and technical diagnostics to improve the app, fix bugs, and understand how the app is used. This may include:
- app version
- device type
- operating system version
- language
- country or region
- app events (for example, onboarding completed, first subscription added, paywall viewed, purchase completed)
- crash logs
- performance diagnostics
d) Local notifications
If you enable reminders, Subsly may schedule local notifications on your device to remind you about upcoming renewals or free trial endings.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide the app's core features
- save and display your subscription tracking data
- calculate monthly and yearly spending totals
- show reminders for upcoming renewals and trials
- unlock and manage premium access
- improve app stability, usability, and performance
- fix bugs and monitor crashes

4. Data Storage
Your subscription tracking data is primarily stored locally on your device.
Some limited information may be processed by third-party service providers we use to operate the app, such as analytics, crash reporting, and subscription management tools.
5. Third-Party Services
Subsly may use third-party services such as:
- Google Play Billing / Google Play — Used to process purchases and subscriptions.
- RevenueCat — Used to manage subscription status, entitlements, and purchase restoration.
- Firebase Analytics — Used to understand app usage and improve the product.
- Firebase Crashlytics — Used to collect crash reports and technical diagnostics to improve app stability.

6. What We Do Not Collect
Subsly does not require or intentionally collect:
- bank account login credentials
- banking passwords
- credit card numbers
- government-issued identifiers
- contacts
- photos
- messages
- precise location
- microphone or camera data
unless explicitly required by a feature you choose to use and clearly disclosed in advance.
8. Data Retention
Locally stored subscription data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or remove the data.
Analytics, crash, and purchase-related records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for app operations, fraud prevention, legal compliance, troubleshooting, and financial reporting.
9. Your Choices
Depending on how you use the app, you may be able to:
- delete subscriptions you entered
- uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from your device
- disable notifications in your device settings
- manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play

10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information associated with the app. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's Privacy
Subsly is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
